FORKS HIGH SCHOOL GAME DAY CASHIER

 

Cashiers are responsible for handling admissions at athletic events. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Responsible and dependable, with strong attention to detail
• Experience handling cash and making change accurately
• Friendly, professional demeanor in dealing with students, staff, and the public
• Availability to work evenings and weekends during game/event seasons
• Must follow district cash-handling and accounting procedures
• Ability to maintain accurate records and return materials after each event
• Previous experience in a school or event setting preferred
  
  

POSITION INFORMATION:

• This position is only needed for home games.
• The stipend amount is based on the amount of seasons the cashier commits to working. 

 

 WORKING ENVIRONMENT

Cashier work is performed primarily in the admissions stand and at the enterence of the gym scheduled home athletic events outside of the regular work day. The position requires standing and walking and sitting for extended periods. Duties may include bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching.  The cashier must be able to work evenings and weekends, adapt to changing schedules due to weather or event cancellations, and work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. The position involves occasional exposure to risks associated the general environment of busy athletic events, with appropriate safety practices expected at all times.
