FORKS HIGH SCHOOL ASSISTANT BASEBALL COACH

COACHING REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have or obtain a valid First Aid card by the start of the season
• Good human relations and interpersonal skills
• Complete WIAA/WOA Rules Clinic, recommended  
• Prior coaching experience preferred 

COACHING EXPECTATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Demonstrate leadership abilities
• Possess a strong value system that aligns with the Districts Core Covenants of Respect, Integrity and Commitment
• Ability to work effectively with others: players, parents, and patrons 
• Ability to motivate others
• Dedicated and committed to coaching and knows the value of winning
• Adheres to the rules, regulations, and policies of the WIAA
• Develop a good rapport with parents, and patrons
• Promote and practice positive sportsmanship
• Work to achieve a positive relationship with all audiences
• Perform other duties and responsibilities consistent with district policies and procedures as required 

COACHING POSITION INFORMATION:

• 65 Day Season, March to May
• Season start March 2nd 2026
• Salary per Forks Coaches Association
