FORKS HIGH SCHOOL ASSISTANT TRACK COACH

COACHING REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have or obtain a valid First Aid card
• Good human relations and interpersonal skills
• Prior coaching experience, preferred

COACHING EXPECTATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Demonstrate leadership abilities
• Possess a strong value system that aligns with the Districts Core Covenants of Respect, Integrity and Commitment
• Ability to work effectively with others
• Ability to motivate others
• Ability to effectively communicate with all audiences
• Adheres to the rules, regulations, and policies of the WIAA
• Develop a good rapport with head coach, parents, patrons, news media, teachers and administrators
• Promote and practice positive sportsmanship
• Work to achieve a positive relationship with all audiences
• Perform other duties and responsibilities consistent with district policies and procedures as required

COACHING POSITION INFORMATION:

• 65 Day Season, February to May
• Salary per Forks Coaches Association, $4,800
